Sleek Contouring and Blush Palette- Review

Sleek Contouring & Blush Palette- Review

Hey Everyone,

This review will be nothing but positive because without a doubt this is one of the best product's that I bought during November and I have religiously used it since. I have always been a fan of Sleek makeup and see it as my favourite drug store brand. I only ever purchased eye palettes from Sleek so I thought it was time to try out some of their other products. When I came across this Contouring and Blush palette it immediately caught my eye as I loved the fact that you had a contour colour, a highlight and blush all in one. What more can a girl ask for! First impressions is that the contour colour may look very dark, considering this is the 'Medium' shade palette, but honestly it doesn't make you look fake and orange it just gives your skin a nice glow. It is very build-able and blends well so you can choose whether you want to keep it more natural or create an obvious darker colour. I have never been someone to have a slim and highly structured face so since using this palette I have noticed such a difference to the way it defines my face shape and brings out my features. I just apply the contour under my cheek bones, up through the temples, under my chin and either side of the nose.

The highlight is a golden colour and doesn't have loads of shimmer in. It gives a lovely sheen to the skin and can really brighten your look that you are creating. I apply this at the top of my cheek bones and down the centre of my nose. The thing I like about this highlight is that it doesn't leave an obvious glow to the face, it is very subtle but still works wonders.  Last but not least the blush. I LOVE the colour of this blusher. It is a great colour for Autumn/Winter and is something different from your usual 'pink' or 'coral'. I would personally describe the colour as copper or almost a rusty orange. I apply this to the apples of my cheeks and it really suits my skin tone. You can get this palette from Superdrug, the Sleek website or any local shops that sell Sleek makeup. Annoyingly I can't exactly remember how much I payed for it but I think it was £9.99. So for what you are getting and the quality of it I would really recommend giving it a try if you like your contouring, highlighting and a darker shade blush.

To apply the contour and highlight I use my Real Techniques Contouring Brush and to             apply the blush I use my Real Techniques Blush Brush. Let me know what you think!
