Dramatic Smokey Eye- Katniss Everdeen Makeup

Dramatic Smokey Eye- Katniss Everdeen Makeup

Hey everyone,

I have always loved a smokey eye as you can really experiment with them and create such different looks according to the colours and textures you use. A smokey eye doesn't always have to be dark and intense, for an everyday look you can create a neutral and pretty smokey eye. When I watched the Hunger Games: Catching Fire I immediately fell in love with the makeup Katniss was wearing on the Victory Tour (the scene in which she was wearing her wedding dress). It looked absolutely beautiful so I wanted to have a go at it myself. Mine is a lot darker than hers but for me personally, I like it more dramatic. I love how this look turned out but unfortunately I don't own any lashes that get longer and graduate on the outer corner so I had to make do.

Hope you all like this look!

Scary Clown Makeup

Scary Clown Makeup

Hey everyone,

A very creepy and spooky makeup look for you all today. I see a lot of clown makeup looks and there's a lot of different takes on them. Although there is a variety of traditional happy circus clowns I wanted to take a different interpretation and create a very evil looking clown you would see in a horror film. I still made sure I incorporated an array of bright colours but I used a black eyeliner to give the whole look a dark effect. Using the black eyeliner I created lines, dark eyes and a contrast of light and dark areas to give more definition. Unfortunately I didn't have one of those big red curly clown wigs which I thought would have really completed this look and if you want you could even add some quirky contact lenses. This look is really perfect for Halloween.

Creepy, Dead Zombie Makeup Look

Creepy, Dead Zombie Makeup Look

Hey everyone,

Here is a very theatrical makeup look that would be perfect for Halloween, a fancy dress party or perhaps for a show. It is inspired by a zombie and has a very rotting, ageing look to it. I had fun with this look and what's great about it is that all you will need is a white face paint/cream and a black eyeliner... so this look is very easy and affordable to create. Be prepared for your fingers to be black after working on this look because a lot of shading and smudging is involved!

Any questions or looks you would like me to have a go at please leave me a comment!

Dramatic, Bold Eye Makeup- Editorial

Dramatic, Bold Eye Makeup- Editorial

Hey everyone,

Another editorial makeup look for you all. The colours are very summery and bright. Again wanted to experiment with the little gems and I am happy with how this look turned out. Not a very wearable look but still fun and interesting, would be nice for a fancy dress party or perhaps to make it more wearable don't use the gems.
