Hey everyone,

So usually I spend a lot of time working on theatrical makeup looks but I really wanted to create a more editorial/fashion makeup inspired look that would be seen in magazines. The other day I bought some little gems from John Lewis and have been wanting to incorporate them into a few makeup looks... so here is the first look I have created using the gems. To apply the gems onto the face all you need is eyelash glue (I just have a basic one from the Boots range) and perhaps a pair of tweezers if you will find it easier. You can really experiment with this look and mix up the colours. Before completing the look I pictured something fun, girly and bright so knew I was going to base the makeup around pinks and purples. Applying the gems is extremely fiddly so make sure you don't rush this part! I am really happy with how this look turned out and I am going to start going a lot more editorial looks for you all.

Hey everyone,

Firstly I apologise for the very long delayed blog post.. I have been super busy lately and if I'm honest and just not got fully back into blogging since Christmas. I am now going to make sure I post weekly. So yesterday I spent some time with my sister and she kindly let me create a new makeup look I have been wanting to experiment with on her. I love bold, unique eye makeup so I knew that the look would evolve purely around the vibrant eyes. This look is inspired my Masquerade Masks and could also represent a colourful and light twist to the 'Black Swan' makeup. This look would be great for a fancy dress party, Halloween or even a dance/drama show. Any questions on this look I would love for you to leave me a comment!

So I was very kindly nominated by Becky from beckysbeautyfix to take part in the Versatile Blogger Award. If nominated you have to write 7 facts about yourself and of course they can be completely random. Once you have given 7 facts about yourself you need to nominate 15 other bloggers that you would like to see have a go at the tag and enjoy reading their answers. So here are the 7 facts about me:

1) For a long time I wanted to be a dancer and run my own dance school until about the age of 15 when I totally changed what I wanted to do. I now would absolutely love to be a professional makeup artist. Changing your mind isn't a bad thing.. 

2) I adore cats. I have two myself, both girls. One called Narla and one called Lilly. They are both adorable but unfortunately do not get along and fight all the time :-(. I would love to get at least 1 more cat.

3) I have always wanted to experiment with my hair and am never ever happy with it. I am a natural blonde and I have only ever had some highlights put through it. This year I have promised myself in the summer I will dye it a very light/white blonde and dip-dye it light blue. Now lets see if that happens.. 

4) I have always wanted to create my own Youtube channel to post a variety of makeup tutorials, hauls and vlogs. When I turn 18 I am going to make my own channel and see how it goes! 

5) I would much rather watch a violent action film over a girly chick flick. I love the films that make you feel on edge and that are full of suspense so films full of violence and tension are my sort of thing. My two favourites are Gangster Squad and Savages. 

6) Drama is my absolute favourite subject at school and I religiously look forward to it every week. At the moment I am studying it for GCSE but will soon be taking it for A-level. 

7) I now have no body piercings due to the fact that my ears closed up, but I would love to get nearly every part of one of my ears pieced and my nose pierced.

Hey everyone,

Another makeup look for you all. I really love working on skull looks but this time I wanted to create something that was a bit more unique and different to ones that have been seen before. I am happy with how it turned out and like the fact that it still involves a lot of colour instead of just being the typical black and white theme.

Hey everyone,

I am literally forever on the Topshop website browsing through the 'new in' section looking at what clothes Topshop have brought out, as not only do I like to see the latest styles and trends but I love it when I start seeing the new seasons clothes coming in. I have noticed that a few Spring time clothes have started to come out on Topshop's website and I absolutely love the colours and patterns which are in this year. Spring time fashion is a lot more girly and cute, with a basis of pastel colours (although there are a lot more block colours this year).
